True Blue

These tiny bits of wonder pepper the forest floor in Kiwanis Park.

Gathering Bedding

A Springtime walk through Kiwanis Park found this lass gathering materials to line her nest. I'm assuming the female is nest-building, but with all those colors, it could be the male preparing to mate. Just beautiful. You never know what you'll find in the trees along the Spokane River.

Swim Zone

The swimming areas at the public parks along the Spokane River are now open in Post Falls. Dale and I drove along the south side of the river and stopped at tiny Greensferry Park where we watched a couple kids splashing in the cold water.

Welcome!

Welcome to our new blog!

Dale and I are eager to begin this new enterprise - showing visitors our charming home town of Post Falls, Idaho. We've lived here 20 years now. We've raised our family here. We've watched the town nearly triple in size. We've felt the pains of growth. We enjoy the fruits of change.

Post Falls has much to offer. Most is positive. Yet there's a bit of an rough underbelly. Through our images, we hope to reveal the spectrum - the pretty and the gritty.

Come join us as we trip around town in the sunshine and peek into the shadows. What better place to begin than the Falls.
